Burn After Reading Puts Unlikely Heroes in Spy Game
Not much to dwell on here, just great actors letting their guards down and having fun, so Burn After Reading should come as a welcome breather to anyone still recovering from No Country for Old Men. In Burn, the Cohen’s continue their long tradition of bending film genres by placing unlikely heroes in situations usually reserved for hardened, chiseled types (think pregnant female cop in Fargo or slacker stoner dude in The Big Liebowski). This time around, a pair of fitness club fiends (Brad Pitt, Frances McDormand), foolishly try their hand at the spygame in between sessions of step aerobics and pilates.
