The Beaver

This is one of those movie concepts that when you hear it, you ask for verification, because it sounds like total b.s. Prove it with trailers, posters, and articles from legitimate news sources (definitely not Movie666). But sure enough, if you look around, proof that The Beaver lives is surfacing on the internet.
Personally, I’m not a big fan of watching actors play retarded on screen, and this movie is looking suspiciously like a member of that subgenre, even though Gibson’s character is apparently just massively depressed. All glory to Gibson if he can net a trophy for both himself and the puppet by playing a challenging role, but I’d rather see him hauling tankers or directing more movies about Mayans on the war path. Apocalypto Meets the Beaver, now that movie I’d pay full price for.
