Movie 666

Mesmerizing, completely original movie is perhaps a bit uneven, but so what. There is so much to gawk at and be brutally entertained that any excesses are easily forgiven. Daniel Day Lewis is certain to vanish for another five years to recover from his deep method tour-de-force. One cringes for the safety of the other actors when DDL starts slinging mud and bowling pins.
